Vintage Collection Info:
Our Pickguards are Made to USA Specs, which will typically fit Mexico, USA and Custom Shop guitars. Some Vintage Guitars may have small tolerance variations with fit due to being built without CNC.
Our Knobs, Covers & Tips are made to fit USA Imperial Sized Electronics (ie: CTS pots, CRL Switches, Switchcraft Switches, USA Pickup Pole Spacing, etc.) These specs will also match with most Mexican, Custom Shop or Genuine Vintage Guitars. Knobs with Set Screws are typically made to fit Solid Shaft Pots.
Our Hardware typically uses Genuine Branded Parts (Fender, Gibson, Kluson, etc) or Our Own Gotoh Made items. These items should all be a direct fit with the respective guitars from those manufacturers (Mexico, USA, Custom Shop and most Vintage Guitars should be compatible, but always refer to the sizing in the description).

While my recent purchase of Realistic Relics vintage speed knobs is quite accurate in most respects like color, internal construction, embossed numbering, spline count, and material, the biggest oversight is the actual knob height. Early 1950's Gibson speed knobs were 5/8" tall, not 1/2". I did order the non-reliced version to suit my build condition. Realistic Relics does excellent aging work on what they get from their source suppliers. What I think the problem amounts to currently is there are no real fully accurate historic speed knobs available for them to choose from. I've seen the correct height speed knobs offered elsewhere, but they fall short on the aforementioned internal features.
Thanks for the review and kind words - but this isn't exactly accurate - only the earliest Speed Knobs on the first iteration of the 1952 Les Paul (with the trapeze tailpieces and no poker chip) we're 5/8' tall. In 1953, even when the trapeze tailpiece was still around, they had already switched to the shorter 1/2' knobs and those were used until late 1955/1956 when the Bell Knobs were introduced. The Tall Speed Knobs were more common on early Lap Steels from 1950-1952 as that's what they were originally used for before the release of the Les Paul in 1952.
Great customer service and amazing job in these aged knobs. They really look amazing on my 87 Gibson LP Custom Black Beauty. Highly recommend!!!
Communication was on point and the parts are fantastic. Happy to support a great small business.
